Davidson Wooden Chair, Upholstery Seat
This is a classic Library Chair design, and made to last. All solid oak, this chair features steam-bent back slats for contour and comfort. The seat is a full 1" thick, and roomy, at 16-1/2" deep x 18-1/2" wide. We use mortise and tenon construction at every joint to insure sturdiness. Also, a rack is provided underneath for storage of books and other belongings. All edges are eased for a smooth, streamlined appearance. The 401 and 402 are similar in design and identical in construction methods, but are made for extra height needs.

Finishes include Natural, Medium Oak, Walnut. Special finishes are available upon request. Glides are available.

The #444 Library Chair has been around for many years. Originally used as a teacher's desk chair because of its larger size, it has transitioned into a full- use Library Chair as well. The top back is steam-bent and is rounded across the top for form and comfort. The two smaller backs are steam-bent as well for added support for your lower back. The chair is mortise and tenon con struction on all joints; all edges are rounded and sanded. The seat is saddled for contour and comfort. Overall, the chair is larger by about 2" in width than the 300-series chairs, and can accommodate the largest student or adult. Finishes include Natural, Medium Oak, Walnut. Special finishes available upon request. Glides are available.
